Hi sea-nile. I would love to hear about your trip to Bonaire. We went there about 20 years ago and had the most fabulous snorkeling there. The water was crystal clear, tons of healthy coral and teaming fish. We learned to dive after going there. Its seems more built up now, and I hear that Storm Lenny did some damage, but I know its still a big dive destination. So I am interested in hearing about it. We went in the month of May and it was hot, hot, hot. Being so close to the equator was different from the USVI, but the sunny, dry weather made for crystal clear water. Have a great trip!
it's just a long travel day--kind like getting to VG or to anageda--XOXO wrote:Loria, is it hard to get to that horrible stinky place? Any tips to get there?
generally you fly into a bigger place (eg, SanJuan) then take a flight to st Vincent, then hop on a ferry to Bequia--so long travel day--you can fly as well--but i like the ferry.....
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

Yeah... it's looking like we'll just have to go back to STJ
I can't seem to find any place that measures up (it seems I'm REALLY picky - heck, even Kauai didn't measure up to STJ in my mind) - and I don't want to spend my next vacation regretting. I suppose those with a bigger trip budget & more time can take the chance. Ugggghhhh- we STJ lovers- we're just spoiled rotten!!!
