Y’all:

Me: 74°F

“74°F” is better known ’round these parts as “freezing my butt off”.
We had about an hour long chilly drizzle this morning, aka Caribbean Snow,
but now the sun is shining all around on the horizon so I will probably
be trading in the long sleeve t-shirt I am bundled up in right now
for a sleeveless tank top in about thirty minutes.
Wish you were here? (We do!) -c

OK, you don't have any degrees up there right now...I'll loan you some of our 26 degrees, if later in the summer you'll take about 20 of our 100+ degrees....deejayjay wrote:I'm where that big -1 is in the center of your map. 75 sounds pretty good to me. But I suppose it's all relative.
Cheryl, we envy you, darlin....

It was cold here this morning. Our son left the house at 6:45 for school in a sweatshirt and jeans and I think it was 22 degrees (I have found out that when you get to 7th grade wearing a jacket is not cool even if you do freeze your butt off!) Looking forward to our first trip with our family in July.

We are going down on Saturday and I was requested by my mom (who has been shivering since Sunday) to bring down a pair of flannel pants. I said "wuss!" at least you weren't home to shovel the snow off your driveway (which I had to do!)
Hopefully it warms up soon down there....by Saturday would be nice

I teach middle school and some kids are so cool they wear shorts all winter long - and we get very cold days - some claim to not have long pants which unfortunately may be trueHawaii wrote:It was cold here this morning.
