finally booked airfare for Mar. 28!

Post by paulandtracie »

After struggling to find reasonable airfares from Michigan to STT we finally got airfare on Spirit leaving DTW Mar. 28 and returning April 3. We got lucky as Spirit was having a promotion where if you buy a RT ticket between Jan. 5 - 10 you get 5,000 Freespirit miles, enough for an off peak domestic ticket, which we will use for Key West in May. Now we have to find a place to stay on STJ--my husband, 14 year old daughter and I. Looking forward to hanging out with Bigcheeze and the family!! Last year we stayed at Century Hill Estates and loved it but would also like something a little closer to Cruz Bay. 1 - 2 BR, budget friendly, any suggestions?

Congrats on the upcoming trip! Since that's still high season, how budget friendly do you want to be?

Her places tend to be on the tired/worn side, but your budget is tight for three in high season. Blue marlin/ casa blanca are in one building right near gallows pt, CB has a private pool. Only 1 bedroom though, but there is a couch. You wouldn't need a rental car every day at least. We've stayed there and reviewed it, feel free if you have any questions.

A two bedroom out in coral bay we've stayed at is

It falls w/I your budget.

Have fun planning and it never hurts to ask for discounts especially this close.
