Condo/Villa Recommendations

Post by kellog24 »

My sister is planning a wedding in St. John in June 2011. We are wanting all the guests to stay close by in a condo of some sort hopefully. So far, all I've been able to find is vacation home rentals. Anyone have any recs on where we should look? We're looking at around 30 people. Thanks!

You could all probably rent units at Grande Bay. You will have to do a little legwork since most owners rent their units through VRBO, so you will have to check to see how many you can find with the same dates available.
There are other condo complexes nearby, so if you all can not get into Grande Bay, you get get other units close by.

For Grande Bay, you can also go directly through them for rentals - they have several in the rental program and can be comparable to VRBO at times. Full Disclaimer - I own a condo there and have ours listed on VRBO and through Grande Bay.

Here is their website, but I would call directly:

Thanks for the suggestion of Grande Bay. If we could get the three bedroom suites, that would be pretty reasonable. Otherwise, the prices seem pretty high. I'll have to do some more searching. Thanks!

We are at Grande Bay now and love it. Tracy I have thought about you and wondered which one is yours. To kellog: I think x has given you good advice. The condos are nice, the pool area and view can't be beat. And to top it off you can walk everywhere in Cruz Bay. I find that to be a huge bonus when with a group. If someone wants to sleep in, grab a bite to eat, go to the beach bar, they don't have to coordinate it with the group. We are very happy here.

Also try Gallows Point and Lavender Hill for condos. You can also try renting houses close together. Caribbean Villas' website has a section with their houses that are close together are listed.
