Any input with travelin with seniors?
I've invited my 80 year old dad & friend down this year for 6 days for our family 2 week stay on Stt.....It'll be cool for the kids to have grandpop along!!!He turned me on to the Stt 35 years ago for a good 4 years......but he hasn't been back since... I'm gonna get him back to Secret harbor where he vaca'ed for many years with my mom but am a bit nervous about getting him over to ST John ( thinkin trunk)
I'd love to bring him on my week on stj but that's a bit precious to me & wife (annual honeymoon
). I think the odds are if he falls on the beach he'll fall in the sand...... Hmmm, oh This is the first time I've bought trip insurance.....Suggestions and experience welcome!!!! Thanks

Awww... this is so sweet! 
I think Trunk Bay would be perfect because of the facilities available there. The walkways are paved, so he won't have to stumble over roots or rocks, there are plenty of bathrooms, food is available and it's not a far walk from the parking lot to the beach.
Definitely get trip insurance!! I always get it, never used it, but have read plenty of stories here on the forum from people who have had to use their insurance and would have been in deep doodoo if they hadn't had it.
I know your dad will be thrilled to see St. Thomas again, and how fun for you to see it through his eyes and memories!
And CONGRATS on that grandbaby!!

Can your Dad still get around well ?
I think the warmth will be the best thing for him.
We love Secret Harbor - always go there a couple times the time we're on island.
I wish my Dad was still here .. I have so many good camping memories.. ADKs ,even Cape Cod !
