after hours car rental

for the first time ever we are arriving on a flight that gets in during the late afternoon--on a sunday.....--i think we'll be lucky to catch the 5pm ferry--we do need the cars--but how can this be arranged? do all rental companies make provisions for this or just certain ones??

Bougainvillea has always let us pick up the Jeep late on Sunday. They leave the key in a certain spot, then you come back to their office on Monday morning to complete the paperwork. They have parking in front of their store (Schnell Studios). Its about a 4-5 minute walk up the street from the ferry. We have always been very happy with Jeeps from them in our 3 trips.

We always arrive late and have our villa agent pick up the keys to the Jeep for us. We run back into town the next day to do the paperwork.

Cool Breeze will leave the keys in the jeep for you. St. John Car Rental and Penns will allow your agent to pick up the keys for you. I am sure other companies also make arrangements--these are the companies I have used.

thanks very much--we've been using cool breeze for ages--so that's good to know--they know us--we knwo them--half the issue done!

L&L will arrange for a late pick-up. They have a later pick-up fee after (I think) 6pm. They will meet you at the dock and will meet you at the dock when you are departing.
