OK, so we seem to have experts on just about everything here.

I'm in 16 team fantasy league - currently holding down 1st place; only team with 4-1 record (yay me).

In real life, I'm an NE Pats fan. Hate it when I have to root against them to save my fantasy team.

That said - do I play Joe Flacco against NE this weekend or Vince Young against Jacksonville. My fantasy opponent has the NE defense.

For those of you really into this - here's my team

Flacco - QB
Marques colston - WR
Chris Olsen - TE
Frank Gore - RB
Santana Moss - W/T
Mike Tolbert - W/R/T
Dave Akers - K
Tennessee - Def

Bench
Vince Young - QB
Lee Evans - Bye
Joel Dreesen (grabbed him when olsen is on a bye).

Due to my success, I don't win any waiver deals and of course, no one will make a trade

thanks,
janet

As far as the players go, it seems to be a toss up as to how many points you'll get. But, as you know, anything can happen in Fantasy Football. I'd lean towards the Vince Young matchup since NE had a bye last week and their defense has had extra time to prepare for Flacco and Baltimore. Also, you get the bonus of Vince Young's mobility and running potential. If you check the Vegas odds on the game, the Pats and Titans are the slight favorites, but the over/under and the lines for both games are about the same - which means that Vegas is predicting that both games will have similar scores. They'll be close games and should end with scores around 20-24 for each team. The big plus for you by starting Young is that you can root for the Pats without feeling guilty! :-)

Either way - GOOD LUCK!!!

I'd go with VY. Flacco's been too wildly inconsistent...as a Flacco owner in a league, I wish him a flesh eating bacterial infection.

I was leaning toward Young - let's see how it goes:)

My opponent is the loudest, most veteran, most obnoxious smack talker in the league; would love to beat him

I hope Flacco's performance has taught you a valuable lesson

I need Young and the Tennessee to have a HUGE game to pull this one out.

Need to go shopping for a new TE - Olsen's put up zero's 2 weeks now.

This fantasy football stuff is taking away valuable forum time
