Technically the height of hurricane season is past (September) - but - you never know! The Atlantic "train" seems to have slowed, and this current storm Otto was more of a local brew and is forecast to speed away into the Atlantic (heading east, which is sort of rare).

Accuracy beyond a few days on cyclone development is nearly impossible. Basically, you have to look at historical trends, which say that the season is now beyond peak and winding down in November.

Oh, boy, if I could only predict the storms a month from now, that would be swell!theshopper3 wrote:So are there any more storms hiding out there that may be on there way in the next month??
I would also like to be able to read minds, like Sookie Stackhouse.
