I SO was going to go, but, I didn't
I heard that the first morning the place was packed. My husband was off to work when I remembered that it was 'the day' and I didn't think I could load the stuff into my car on my own (6 months preggers right now). Shoot! Would love to hear how the prices were if anyone made it out there.
We got 7 white ceiling fans brand new indoor/outdoor for $22 each along with 2 beautiful table lamps for $50 each. My friend purchased all of the marble tile, pebble floor tile along with cyprus ceiling for a very good price
The Jeeps went between $7,000 and $13,000 depending on the year and model. People were going in together to purchase large quantities - meaning all of the ceiling fans (60 of them I believe) were sold as a block and then the purchaser was selling them off - so we bought 7, someone else bought 10, the purchaser kept 20 etc so there was some good island networking going on

I remember going to a building supplier liquidation when I was about 5 months pregnant. It wasn't the best of days. Mr. PA couldn't understand why I wasn't super excited about the drills he bought.

Darn it Pia! Wish I would have went now. I surely could have played the pregnancy sympathy card and had someone schlep the stuff to the car. Sounds like the prices were right and I could have added some nice upgrades to my shack.
Thanks for all the congrats! And no, no Beach Bar parties for me, but not because I can't drink. My sleep schedule is so screwy right now that I am usually asleep by 7pm, up around 2am. I guess my body is gearing me up for late night feedings. I haven't made it to a Beach Bar gathering yet...too shy
