Carry on people Polar bear Coolers

Post by cptnkirk »

Just used our new Polar bear cooler. The cooler to buy is the 24 can fits in the regulation carryon like a glove. We jammed 38lbs of meat and cheese in that sucker and 33hrs later all the big stuff on the bottom was frozen solid. Small packages on top like the lunchmeats, cheese and bacon were patially frozen.
No extra freezing agents were added to the cooler. Just a little in the know on this great little cooler.

We have done something like that for years. The first time we tried it there was very little thawing and I was really surprised.

I always say I'm going to get one, but I never have. I think I'll wait till Christmas, as they usually have a buy one/get one sale. Thanks for the info, always good to hear another Polar Bear success story! :D

they work fantastic. We just used a 24 can size as well. And then once you get there, you have a nice cooler to bring to the beach as well using the same Techni ice - its really worth the investment!
