Is there a BB gathering every Sunday?

Not always.
Depends on who is on island at the time. Some get to more of a critical mass than others.
The key is to do some advance work to see who to look for and then hope that they show. Sometimes it's more obvious if someone is wearing their forum t-shirt or using their koozie. Sometimes you have to get bold and just walk up to people. Also, sometimes people have every intention of showing and villa gravity gets the betetr of them so it's hit or miss.
The following advice applies with any and all forum gatherings:
The odds are good. But the goods are odd.

*Another fine scatterbrained production

If you check in a few weeks before your trip and ask who will be attending the Beach Bar Sunday night, it helps get things going. I can't always make it, but there's usually someone who wants to go.
We try to meet around 5PM on the beach, otherwise no one can hear anyone and it's hard to have a conversation.
Also, there is a secret password which you should know about.

The banner would be great!
We had a few on the 18th but I only have one picture.
We got there at 4:00 and were enjoying the jazz music. Those young musicians were so talented! By the time the VIOL people showed up we were very tired and just stayed a little while. It was fun to meet up with familiar faces and meet a few new ones though.

Thank you for the banner, Bandit.Bandit wrote:And there is a VIOL Forum Banner that has yet to make an appearance. We need to figure out a way to get it from St.John Spice and take it to the Beach Bar. It would be great if the Beach Bar would keep it in their possession and hang it each Sunday.
I am holding it at St. John Spice for you.
When you are ready to attend a a Beach Bar gathering and set it all up, let me know.
See you soon.

The Banner is for VIOL Members to use. It would probably work better for it to be in the possession of The Beach Bar, as they are the ones making the money off of the gatherings and they could easily put it out each Sunday perhaps. I just didn't have time to coordinate that part of it so I left it at St. John Spice. Please don't hold it for me as I've moved on to hanging out on a different island.
And Ruth, I don't know if you noticed, but there is also a Banner for St. John Spice as a thank you for dealing with this.
Adios!
