I've never been to an outdoor music festival, it's something I Really need to accomplish sometime soon.
I've always wanted to go but have never made it. If I remember correctly you go to several every year. Any advise for a first timer?

AH: Ooooh, yeah!
Joppa: Yes, we love music festivals! Have gone as far as Cropredy, England, for music (Fairport Convention annual reunion). What kinds of music do you like? We're busy with our local festival, most of the summer... www.greatblueheron.com. I'm a volunteer coordinator and we do site clean up the rest of the summer. GREAT festival. We've also gone to other little fests and big ones (Woodstock and Bonnaroo).
The only general recommendations I have are to go VIP if you can afford it, and volunteer if you can. I can't tell you how grateful we are for volunteers, and how much it enhances your overall experience!
If you tell me your music tastes, I might be able to recommend a fest for you.
