I am the worst decision maker ever

Post by kristen1206 »

First I was between a condo at Grande Bay and Apito, then Apito and Casa Bueno. Now thinking that since I only turn 40 once I may as well splurge a bit. Bongo Bongo is at the top of the list right now but then figured I should check a few others and came up with Idyllic and Splendore. I want a great outdoor space for living, eating, lounging, swimming and just looking at the view. Being able to see the view from the pool, having a hot tub and outdoor bar are big plusses. I couldn't get a good feel for the outdoor space at Casa Bueno. I like the Chocolate Hole/Great Cruz Bay area for the sunset views and proximity to Cruz Bay. Abrigado looks perfect but too much $$$.

Think Bongo Bongo is the best fit?

every time someone mentions a villa you will go look at it and think "is this the one?" or "should I have picked this one?".

that said best fit for who/what? Grande Bay v. a villa are 2 very different things so it's hard to judge what you are looking for.

Bongo is great. Stayed there for my honeymoon and I provided a photo review in the review section. Happy to answer specific questions if you have them.

good luck ... don't drive yourself crazy!

We have definitely ruled out the villa. I have bookmarked a bunch of villas over the years and started going back through them.

Looked at your photos last night! Looks like a great villa. As long as out friends are ok with upping the budget, I think we are going with Bongo Bongo.

Meant to say we definitely ruled out the condo.

My husband likes BB the best too.

I would book Bongo-Bongo - it looks like an awesome property and I hope to stay there some day.

Did you happen to notice that there's a thread going below of Splendore v. Bongo Bongo; you should check out the comments there for a few more opinions. Good luck, Ali~

Please so send me a PM!

I noticed that the pool look dark but I just assumed that was because it had a dark colored bottom?

I did see the other thread but it makes a case for both villas! :)
