Thanks to American Airlines For a 2 hour delay we missed our connection from Miami to STT and now are stuck in the MiAmi aiRport for 5 hours....will make the 10pm ferry and miss the car rental,etc. So no Father's DAy dinner in STJ tonight....but at leaSt we Will be on island before the day's end....

oh such a bummer! but just think you will be there before too long and by the time you get there the current mess of weather will probably be history!

14 hours later and we are still not there! Now SiTting on the aiRplane on the runway for one hour while waiting for a mechanic to show up- ST JOHN....I WANT YOU!!!!

Double bummer! But at least you're half way there and not back here in 101 degree Dallas! Your toes will be in the sand before you know it!!

The same thing happened to us several years ago, so I understand how stressful it is. But STJ is worth it!

Well, we finally arrived in time to make the 11pm ferry...got to the villa at 11:45pm. YEA!! What a nice surprise we had this morning to wake up and see where we were! That's the funny thing about arriving at night.

Similar situation here; a mechanical delay made me miss my connecting flight from North Carolina. A lady, her son, and myself all ran to the gate. The plane was still parked, but the door had been closed. I'm also presently stuck in Miami, expecting not to get home until around midnight. Can't wait to wake up tomorrow to the view of the bay!
