Underwater Photos...finally!

Re filters, most point n shoots require some kind of adapter to accomodate a filter and would not fit into the housing with it on. Better to practice good technique and post production color correction.
Re using flash underwater with point n shoots, often it will illuminate unseen "floaties" in the water and better not have it fire all the time. Plus firing the flash a lot will heat up the casing and make it more likely to fog up.
Pros use powerful strobe flash units that are held off center so not so much a problem for them.
If partly cloudy, consider manually increasing the ISO setting to make camera work better in lower lighting without firing the flash all the time.
