sea cay villa klien bay current info

i started active tread recently requesting info on villas that were west facing and 1 level. getting some good responses. ran across sea cay which has some wonderful views with 1 bedroom on main level and 2 bedrooms up. for our group of 4 this works since family room, pool and main decks and 1 bedroom are 1 level. so added to list of suspects for 8/1 to 8/8.

did a goggle search on sea cay and found a string from earlier this year talking about all the neglect this villa has indured. only positive response from recent visitor was a 1st time poster that could be suspect.

any regulars out there have any 1st had knowledge. tried to do own search on this site and lose the results each time i look at a possible hit and after several attempts gave up.

My family stayed at Sea Cay in May. It didn't seem neglected to me - I thought it was in good shape. The view is wonderful.

thanks beesmom. seems like there was a trip report from a while back about a family who stayed there, loved and posted a bunch of pics on another site which i bookmarked and found. i have also noted several pics of the family on a very long trail of steps and wandering downhill path. i certainly hope that's not from parking lot to villa. how close is parking to villa entrance. i'm generally familar with area and know the villa is "down hill" from the rd.

stayed at temptress several yrs ago (pre soc sec) and steps/path from parking to villa got to be a real pain.

Papabou: the parking is right next to the villa; the driveway is a steep adventure but not a problem w/ 4-wheel drive once you get used to it.

The villa is situated so you have to walk down a flight of stairs to get to the main room, pool, and one of the bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are on the same level as the parking / villa gate.

The three bedrooms are accessible only from the outside and all 3 have bathrooms. There's a fourth bathroom downstairs next to the pool / mainroom (and the laundry room is also there).

thanks again beesmom. i guess the picture i saw was at another stj location. if parking is close to villa and not much higher than second level bedrooms all will be fine.
