That's wonderful Pia! You were so friendly and gracious to us when we met a the beach gathering last year. You seem perfect for the position. The tourism biz is lucky to have you!

Pia- don't forget that serving "Skeeters" is always a solid back up to the ubiqutious jell-o shot.

Also, "is there rum in the rum punch?"

Sure as hell hope this won't eat too much into our party time in December! Just sayin!!

Lovermont and I will have to come by and bug the sh!t out of you if it does 8)

Pia, what do you think would happen if a tourist missed a ferry one day? Say a CA ferry? Can you advise me on that? Thanks in advance.

I think the tourist might ask if there was a private water taxi available, to which I would would probably reply I could check with the two water taxi companies but I believe they do not go to CA (Homeland Security rules) and then when said tourist might ask the price anyway, I probably would reply with an approximation, said tourist might start screaming at me, finger wagging in my face, walk to the corner, continue to scream at me and accuse all STJ businesses of price gouging tourists, let me and all within a 100' range know that they live in a "tourist" location and there is no way that they treat their tourists with such disrespect and all on STJ should be ashamed :)

But that is only what I would "probably" do

I sincerely hope that there are few of those tourists missing ferries....

Sounds like you would probably do a very good job of keeping your cool under such circumstances.

BTW, congratulations on this new position. 8)
