become a Waveplace mentor, help St John!
Hi folks,
My group, Waveplace (waveplace.org), is bringing another 60 OLPC XO laptops to St John's three schools in late May, and we're holding a ten-day mentor training workshop (May 24 to June 2) which is free if you're already on St John. If you love St John, this is a great way to give back to children of the island. Let me know by clicking "contact" on the Waveplace website and I'll send you more details. Also, at the end of the workshop, we're holding a 4 day summit (May 28-31) with people from all over the world, doing similar things with laptops, kids, and education. It'll be a pretty cool event, with lots of ideas & hope.
