It seems as the days progressed things got started later and later. My body was moving from NJ work time to island time and it didn't seem crucial to be up and out early.
Before we left for vacation Charlie volunteered to be part of an organization's test writing team. It is sort of work related but sort of not. Something he is doing on his own time yet it enhances his career path/experiences. Of course his first assignment was due smack dab in the middle of our vacation. As much as he didn't want to he had to do some work in the morning to get this off his plate and his mind. So after breakfast I set off on an East End photo shoot. I have driven on island but never by myself that I recall (FIRST!). East End is a good place for this as there is rarely anyone around.

It was a gorgeous day for a drive. I really don't know the names of the locations where I stopped so if anyone wants to tell me I'd appreciate it.

I know everyone raves about the lobster roll but I'm not a fan even when I visit Maine. This is the go to dish for me at TT. Orange tuna or something like that.

The afternoon was spent at Francis (FIRST!). Note to those of you who have not been here before. When you reach the small parking lot near the Francis trail you can still continue down the road to another small lot right at the beach. Doh! Lesson learned
On the way out Charlie went and got the car and picked me up LOL!
Francis, I think, was my most favorite first. Loved it here and when I looked up above the beach I half expected Vicki H's cute face to be peering out at me from Sunnyledge. No such luck!

Later that evening we decided to head down to Island Blues to hear the tunes in person. Charlie had posted to facebook that he was at IB enjoying a Wally Wacker. Be forewarned, a WW can bring folks scurrying down from them there hills.
Bev and Crash crashed in on us at Island Blues. An unexpected but pleasant surprise. A fun evening!
