Anyone else hang out at STT for 5 or so hours yesterday??

Seems like it was the day of delayed, postponed, rebooked, and cancelled (well almost!) flights...

I don't think any airline in the "main" terminal was immune to the issues.

Made for some good conversation with a number of people from all over!

Delays at the airport are a pain in the tush. I think there was "weather" in the NYC area. My husband was delayed getting into Newark prior to flying to the UK. Of course, his real delay was SEVEN DAYS, because he was supposed to leave last Monday, but the European air space was on lock down because of the volcanic ash plume. Whatever the case, I'd rather find out about the delay while at home so you can get on with things. Being stuck at the airport sucks!

Lucked out, was on the Philadelphia flight and that got out on time and into Philadelphia a few minutes late.

Every other flight seemed to have issues yesterday!!!!

Every other flight seemed to have issues yesterday!!!!

It was crazy...we were on the Delta flight that was 3.5 hrs late getting in, a US Air flight to Charlotte had 3 toilets that weren't working...AA had flights delayed because of weather...

We were sitting next to a couple who is there very routinely and said they had never seen the airport that crowded for a "normal" Monday.

We were there from about 1 til 4:15. We were probably one of the only lucky ones. Delta flight was on time, and we made it through to Atlanta and then KC on time. I'm not complaining. The last day is always a long one though. Even though all our flights were ontime, we still didn't get home til 1 am. It just takes a long time to get from there to here.
