might be going!

Post by loria »

Mr. Loria doesn't lurk here, but his 50th is approaching (ouch!) and so I am trying to get him down to STJ to celebrate--think i have a sitter lined up (good friend) and now trying to nail down a place to stay-
looking at fair winds and following seas--we only need one bedroom would like a pool or a hottub--
would have liked to stay at Bo atabey where we have stayed before--but we don't need that much space--and it's booked for when we'd be there (which if we go is soon.....) our dates are probably 5/22 or 23 thur the 5/30 (would have liked to stay until 31st so mr Loria could do the beach to beach swim.......)
anyway, ideas on small places in coral bay?--
also has anyone done the private chef thing? i was thinking for the big day i might splurge on that--
any ideas on how to make this 50th (again, if we GO!!!) rememberable would be really appreciated--
thanks! Lori

Well have you? (LOL) I believe it is just below Bo Atabey. Nice pool, no hot tub. Great place for 2. Great owners too.

Check out Starlit Escape - it is bigger but they only charge for the rooms you use - they have a pool but no hot tub - the view of Coral Bay is fromthe "Happy Hour Tower" - we loved it.

If your dates are a little flexible you might want to look at In Harmony Retreat, which becomes available on 5/24. Hot tub, and a nice view over Hurricane Hole. As for a private chef, we used Chef Ted Robinson in January and not only was his food amazing, he was reasonably priced. Good luck with your plans!

Lori that is so great!

Friends of ours stayed at Papaya Moon. Coral Bay, very secluded, pool and hot tub, inexpensive. I didn't see an availability calendar on their site but if you're still looking for a place, it's worth a call. Their site has a map that shows location - definitely secluded there at the end of the road.

Have fun!!!
