I had an email from Amazon this morning introducing the "FREE Kindle for Mac app"... thought I'd pass the info along....

So, this is cool. I downloaded Kindle onto my Mac. Purchased a book - An Embarrassment of Mangoes. Then, just now, I downloaded the free app onto my iPhone. Guess what? No syncing needed. It recognizes what book(s) I have in my Kindle account on the iPhone too. So, I can read it on my laptop or on my iPhone!
