Internet Caribbean Radio?

Post by sherban »

I'm looking for some advice/suggestions on how to locate / listen to / save some favorite internet radio stations in iTunes or Windows media player.

I sort of forgot about internet radio and then "rediscovered" it a few weeks back while reading a music post on the Travel forum.

So I figured out how to find some of the popular caribbean radio stations like Caribbean Breeze and Reggae 141...but I'm not sure how to add Virgin Islands stations to iTunes or Windows media player...can anyone help?

Can I add a couple of the stations at the following link into itunes or WMP?
http://www.amg.vi/

Kinda wierd (shows how cluless I am) I found a virgin islands radio station in my recently played list in iTunes and I don't know how it got there....

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

In the left hand panel in iTunes under "Library" there is a button for "Radio". If you click on that, a long list of internet streams will come up sorted by genre. Click on "Reggae/Island" and more than 40 stations will be listed. There's even a "Kenny Chesney's No Shoes Radio" which I listened to this past Saturday while we were having a party. Not too bad.

Just pick one that interests you and double-click!

noshoesradio.com has an app. I downloaded it to my ipod. This is a great station that plays some music you can't buy anywhere. They are doing a great job with it and I use it for my cookouts etc.
