Happy Belated Birthday Lex!
Happy Belated Birthday Lex!
Many people have birthdays - most of us, in fact.
Last year's forum posts and events pertaining to your birthday and St John made an impression on me... even so, I missed it yesterday. (May be an age thing...)
So, I hope you had a good day and will have many more happy years...

Belated thanks for your kind belated birthday good wishes. There were a number of memorable occurrences a year ago connected to my birthday and I continue to treasure the memories. This is the "birthday card" that I "received". A number of people were involved in the process and I thank you all again. It was touching and I continue to be touched by the memory. I went back and read the posts from that time and felt very happy and grateful. It's interesting to drop back and revisit some past time on the forum.

I turned 65. It was relatively painless. Turning 60 was quite difficult for me. That birthday was spent on STJ. I needed some serious cushioning for that one. Last year we spent my birthday in Provincetown on Cape Cod. We returned again this year, to the same B&B with its hot tub, sauna and steam room. The weather was pretty horrendous--heavy rains with very high winds for our entire stay. Provincetown has some spectacular dunes that stretch quite a distance and I always enjoy hiking through them. That was a rainout, but we did walk Commercial Street one afternoon. We had to consciously attend to our attitudes and spirits, but managed to have a pretty pleasant time.
I hadn't been on the forum but received a PM from a thoughtful soul alerting me to this thread. It's very touching and sincerely appreciated. Thanks.
