In Jan. I put 4 ribeyes and 2 merinaded pork tender loins that were vacum packed and wrapped in news paper in one of those insulated bags from the supper market in my back pack no problem

Bevm,
I packed frozen steaks and marinated chicken breasts in a cooler that had an ice pack in the top, and carried it on. (We don't like to check bags either!). No one questioned it at all, and everything was frozen solid when we arrived and moved it to the villa freezer. Good luck, but I don't think you'll have any problems!
