Dollar Taxis on STT

Does anyone know if the $1 taxis run from Magen's Bay (the entrance maybe near Udder Delight) all the way back to Sapphire Beach area? There are 3 of us going. I will pay regular taxi price to get there from Sapphire since I know that the $1 taxis only run clockwise, but I was hoping for the ride back we could walk out of Magen's Bay to the road and catch a dollar ride back (or maybe $2 since it's a longer ride).

The dollar ride is a convenience for local commuters - the routes are only on the major roads, basically through the middle of the island. They have no Northside routes at all -- so there are no dollar taxis available anywhere near Magens

My suggestion would be to rent a car for the day. I beleive there is still a rental company at Saphire. At $15 bucks a head each way times three the car rental for the day will be about the same money maybe less. Make a day of it and tour the island as well as get you Magen's day in.
