Nola girl - my sister and her family were stuck in Canal Place for 3.5 hours, didn't roll out of there till 1:15. I went home with my other half who had gone downtown for lunch and knew there was gonna be traffic so he stayed down there. We got stuck in the Pan-American Life building for about 2.5 hours but were able to go into the Inter-Continental & hang out in the bar.

Funny thing is that I seriously contemplated heading over to Lucy's to drink there, but we opted to stay put. Wish we would have followed my gut instinct. All of us agreed that even though we were stuck getting home, we were glad we went to the parade.

Oh and I did see that blog about the "unspoken gentleman's agreement that you don't do an onsides kick after half time". I also saw all of the responses that slammed the idiot afterwards.

Gotta love New Orleans - it's the only place in the world where you find people having a funeral for a nickname for a sports team! Wish I could have made it to the Jazz funeral for the "Aint's". Unfortunately after a two weeks of celebrating the super bowl & Mardi Gras I had to catch up on laundry & chores around my house.
