advance notice for package to connections?

I've read about the service provided by Connections to allow small packages to be sent to them to hold until one arrives on STJ
This will be a big help for traveling with carry-on only since they now seem to limit weight of carry-on bags
Does anyone know if I need to communicate with Connections in advance of sendong a package to myself at their address listed on their website?

Yes, give them a call and let them know to expect it. Be sure to follow their instructions on how to address exactly to ensure prompt delivery.

I mailed a package home to myself on 2/10 and it was at my house on 2/13! This was pretty amazing since we had a ton of snow in the northeast on the 10th.

Just a reminder: Connections is only open until 1 on Saturdays so if arriving on Saturday you need to arrange for someone to pick it up. The villa management company did it for us.
