Non-Palindrome

Post by Lex »

This is pretty clever:

A palindrome reads the same backwards as forward. This video reads the exact opposite backwards as forward. Not only does it read the opposite, the meaning is opposite.. Make sure you read as well as listen, both forward and backward. This is a video that was submitted in a contest by a 20-year old. The contest was titled "u @ 50" by AARP. This video won second place.

OK, I just copied and pasted this to a bunch of folks on my mail list. Very cool. I wish that I had that depth when I was 20. Crap, I wish I had that much depth now.

"Madam in eden I'm Adam" is a palindrome. While this video is clever, it is not a palindrome.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Actually I tried to point that out myself when I wrote

"A palindrome reads the SAME backwards as forward. This video reads the exact OPPOSITE backwards as forward."

I also though that it might help that I titled the thread "Non-Palindrome".

Perhaps I could have been clearer if I'd used emoticons.

I'm probably wasting too much time on this. But, what she did was reverse the order of the SENTENCES to create an opposite meaning. Whatever.

Would it better if I changed the title of the thread from "Non-Palindrome" to "Non-Palindrome"?
