Full Moon

Post by krislbi »

I think that this will be our 10th trip and the first time we've actually been there for a full moon. I heard that there are full moon parties in Tortola (forget where but a friend went and raved about it), any ones in STJ or JVD worth checking out?

JVD doesn't have one that I know of.
Tortola has 2..
1. Bomba's-pretty "adult" like..possible nudity, etc..
2. Trellis Bay-Jumbies, more family like..with fire sculptures, etc..
Personally, I would not leave STJ to go over to Bomba's..but that's just my 2cents..

Yeah, I kind of thought it was not my scene at The Bomba Shack...just thought I'd confirm my suspicions..
Thanks! :)

My DH always says he'd like to hike the Ram's Head trail in a full moon. I'm been to Miss Lucy's pig roast full moon party. It was OK but I don't think I'd do it again. I think if I were there for the full moon I'd just enjoy it from the pool deck of whatever villa I was staying at.

We loved Miss Lucy's - it's not so much a "party", but WOW what views and the atmosphere is like heaven overlooking the bay. And the food was excellent!!
