House with Stairs to Hansen Bay Beach

When we were at Hansen a couple of weeks ago I noticed some stairs at the far right side of the beach, leading up to a house (I think.)

Does anyone know if that's a private house or a rental opportunity? (Is it Vie's?) I didn't see much, if any, of the house from the beach, and I forgot to look from the road when we left.

Just curious, because it seems like an amazing location.

Pia (and probably others) knows the exact answer to this question, but from what I remember, the stairs belong to the house just across the street. If you go up them, you end up just on the side of the road. I don't believe the property belongs to Vie.

I bet you're both right. I was hoping there might be a house right there at the top of the stairs but I couldn't tell.

Even across the street it looks like it has great views.

Maybe I'm anal, but I'm tempted to tell the owners that they spelled "Hansen" wrong ( like "Hanson") in the VRBO listing.

The house on the far end of Vie's is a private home I've seen listed for sale. Cameron Cove is a great house across from Vie's campground. I think JMQ stayed there.

Lori,

The Retreat is on the road that you drive up if you're going through that Dreeket's Bay development. We saw it when we took a drive through there. I always thought it looked intriguing.

I had no idea where the stairs went, but loved the gate and took about 100 pics.

I just call it "Stairway to Heaven".

hmmmmm maybe it's the other property on the MLS, but that looked Dreeketsy too.......

Coult is possible be Pebble Cove rented through Clous Nine Villas. I dont know how to post the link but this villa is out there and has steps down to the water. We toured it years ago when it was with Caribbeanvillas.

Yes, I think that's the one! Thanks Iowa and lprof.

It's funny that the descriptions of the property never mention Hansen Bay - that kind of threw me at first. But one of the pictures in lprof's link shows the stairs and the beach beyond, and the palm tree I sat under 15 days ago.

Sounds like a nice house. All I need is $5M.
