Welcome CBD. After that experience (with the repair place not the static on this forum), it's probably time to get the right screwdriver.
For what it's worth, posting your name like that was illegal. That probably doesn't matter, though, as we all know there is no law in Coral Bay.
Hope to see you around the forum.

I thought it was a Speedo...??? With that and your varsity jacket you'd be smokin' hot Rob...and we know you can shake your coconuts!!pipanale wrote:I could flirt too. Oh, yeah here y'awl go again! These people are trying to have a serious, mean spirited, flaming conversation and there you go hijacking the thread with the likes of laundry money, bullets, coconuts, peace and bikinis. Have you all no shame? And by the way Pip, despite the resident smart ass's recommendation- I ain't buyin' your claim to fame in a bikini, or a Speedo. And quit batting your keystrokes at me. ugh.......bevm wrote:I thought it was a Speedo...??? Before I forget, Welcome to the nuthouse CBD. I'd like to tell you that we're not always so dysfunctional, but lets just say we definitely have our moments..... As to the rest of you junkies, has anyone noticed that this thread has gone like 2 pages without anyone hearing from the original poster?
Pete, btw, what's illegal about how he posted his name?

Y'ALL
Then again, what other recourse do businesses have when people really do stiff them? It's not like there's mini-claims court.Sorry, I usually am more clear. The illegal part was the computer company posting the names of patrons they believed to be "deadbeats."
Whatever.
Independent of the legality, it just seems tacky to me. Some might say I'm being tacky by venting in a forum about it, but I don't think so. I think when that sort of thing happens in a small community like this, it's important to find a way to warn people.
I knew a mechanic back in Ohio who had a funny way of 'disappearing' peoples cars. They'd bring their old 3-series in for some semi-routine maintenance like a valve-job and the next thing you knew, he'd be telling them they needed a new head-gasket, which turned into a warped-head which turned into a cracked-manifold which turned into a bill that was more than what they paid for their old car.
It's so obvious it's a miracle they get away with it. So you almost have to warn people.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
Closure achieved: I'm outta this thread.
