Did you get spammed by IM?

Has anyone received any spam or strange IMs - I am getting flooded by bounces of IMs to bad/old emails addresses... which usually means someone has tried to PM everyone some junk. If you get anything weird in your IM box please let me know -

I just got an Email from Lady_Admin saying they had noticed a Virus on my computer and an addy where to check it...Ive no alerts here on Avast...Hmmm...

I just got a PM supposedly from "Forum Administration", with the following message:

A virus alert was noticed on your computer.
We highly recommend you to check your computer and perform online virus check at our site immediately:
(removed url)

I highly doubt that my computer is infected with a virus, and it's even less likely that the forum administration would know about it! :lol:

It was from "Lady_Admin", so if that is a real admin, I suspect that her computer is infected, not mine.

(Edited to remove URL, since it probably isn't safe -- I don't know, since I didn't click on it.)

Yes "Lady_Admin" was the culprit and has been banned - don't click on that link!
