Mitsubishi Monterro/Dodge Durango

Conrad lists these for 5-7 passengers. Is this a good match for 6 adults? They ask you for your second choice which only seats 5 but guess we could squeeze if we had to.

I would also recommend at least 2 Jeeps - maybe 3 if you are couples. Won't have to "depend" on someone else's schedule....more freedom and if you are couples/friends you will need time apart!!!

I own a Mitsu Montero and it fits 5 great! 6, not so much. (Unless someone wants to curl up in the back where you'd probably want to put your luggage or beach gear.)

We did fine with 2 Jeeps at Adeste. Getting in - no problem! Getting out - you will need to back out and go up the road a ways to turn around!! Here's some photos!

I gotta agree with the others on this one. We generally encourage each couple to have their own vehicle but if that's too pricey then a minimum of 2 jeeps or vehicles for six adults.

This provides a LOT more flexibility. That way if someone wants to go somewhere else they can and no one is put out.

If it's a Designated Driver issue for dinners then get the larger vehicle and a Jeep. That way if you all want to pile into one car you can for limited trips.

But honestly, bust open the wallet and split the cost on another vehicle if you can. You won't regret it.
*Another fine scatterbrained production

We actually managed 8 adults in a Durango -- it was snug but worked for people transporting -- but if everyone and all their luggage had arrived at the same time we would have needed to make multiple trips!

The trip was originally going to be 6 of us and my other daughter and her SO surprised us! So we coped since there was no possibility of another car to be had over Christmas week!

The biggest challenge was finding big enough parking spots!
