Vikki you are a woman of virtue and character for saving Matt's hat!! .... a man's hat doesn't fit right until it is beaten into submission and darn near ready to fall apart.... then it is a damn fine hat.

Love the report!

Good stuff - love the shots with the dramatic and/or colorful clouds.

I knew it would be crazy with you two. Didnt you guys ever hear of the concept of pacing yourselves?

I loved the entire trip report, . Shower story cracked me up. You seem to have bad luck with unexpected exposure! Caught like a deer in headlights at Ivan's, then the over exposure by drunk Teresa while in the bathroom at Woody's :P . Thanks for writing. Loved the photos.
Going "home" again October 26th!

WOW...I laughed till I cried and then read some more. And then I thought how lucky we are to have great reporters on this forum and the fact that they are reporting on that place we all love so much.

Thanks for your efforts and pics...great creativity.

Dirty Dog Dave

BTW...did anybody have any Pirate Names for the trip?

Vicki...if you are available Feb 20-27...please come with us on Promenade!!! You can document our trip for us...so we can relive it through your FANTASTIC trip reporting!!! First...we probably won't remember at least half of it...second...it'll be even funnier and look a whole lot prettier through your camera lense!!! You may have missed your calling! I can hardly wait for the next installment!

Thank you for taking the time to share!

JC, I have often thought about giving up my day job and pimping myself out as a professional vacationer/personal paparazzi but I haven't quite figured out a marketing strategy that will make me look like a legitimate service provider rather than a freeloader. Working on it.

The colors in your photos are fantastic, what kind of camera are you using and are they enhanced?

Vicki,
Love the trip report and pictures. Going to White Bay/St. John next Saturday for 8 nights. If it weren't for the 38 degrees outside here in eastern NC, I'd feel like I was there looking at your report. I hit all the spots on White Bay in memory of all you guys.

OHMYGOD VickiH: first and foremost the rain blob is amazing!! I think you enter photography contests (right?) and this needs to be entered! Wait---moving right along and the Waterlemon picture needs to be entered too. I love how the clouds look 3D! The picture above splat splat is amazing too. I will stop now. You really are talented. I am SO struggling with my beautiful new camera. Unfortunately my camera looks better than my pictures.

I loved your trip report! It is mid-night now so I will have to read part two tomorrow. I really was looking forward to reading the sailing trip reports and I have thoroughly enjoyed them!

By the way, if I were going to be a bleary eyed person with a CD boom box and a microphone sitting at the bar, stoned out of my ever loving mind I could only hope that I would be in the Virgin Islands!! Certainly this guy got something right--even it is isn't rapping.
