New "find" at STJ Spice
New "find" at STJ Spice
Hey all -- taking a break from my trip report to provide a shopping "find" for folks who are interested.
While at STJ Spice I came across St. John Whackadoos:
http://www.stjohnwhackadoos.com/
I took one look and was SOLD! These are fun and quirky and adorable.
Ruth sells them and it looks like you can order from them directly. (Although Ruth had them a bit cheaper!) Sorry --but I cannot tell a lie!
If you've spent ANY time on STJ you'll get the jokes.

*Another fine scatterbrained production

As Pia mentioned, Mike Kolb - who owns Sailview along with his wife Eileen Victor - is the artist behind these delightful, sometimes naughty and always entertaining cartoons. Mike and Eileen were kind enough to give my DH a mounted version of one of the small cartoon paintings for his birthday. Truly thoughtful and fun people! Gromit - thanks for giving a shout out to the artist and his work! If you stay at Sailview, you may see more of his work that isn't commercially available.Gromit wrote:While at STJ Spice I came across St. John Whackadoos:
