I haven't baked brownies since I was 12, but somehow a box of Ghiaradelli brownie mix and a package of Ghiaradelli squares ended up in my cart at the grocery store
Although tough not to indulge while still warm, I thought they were better the day after they were baked.
You'll just have to test that out to decide...maybe with a little whipped cream on top?

So, I started cooking Thursday afternoon just as it started snowing. I finished around dinner time today, just as it finished snowing!
Crab thingies for a New Years Eve party -

New Years Breakfast - since we got home around 3am, I was glad that I got this started ahead of time and just had to bake it-
Râpée Morvandelle - aka Gratin of Shredded Potatoes with Bacon, Eggs and Onions. (Yes, Santa brought Mastering the Art of French Cooking)

jmq's Ghiaradelli Brownies with Ghiaradelli Dark Chocolate square icing - these are awesome for boxed brownies!

(liked them better the next day(and the next) - and with ice-cream

(Santa got stuck in the Cookbook aisle at B&N).
Egg Nog French Toast

My lame attempt at a Liamsaunt cheese plate

Pork Chops and Vinegar Peppars(BIL's homemade peppars - YUM)

and Mary Beth's Beef Mushroom & Barley soup for sometime during the week

I sent some of the Corn Chowder over to the neighbors. They reciprocated with a few treats from the North End

I think that's enough cooking for the year!
