Morocco tour suggestion

Post by liamsaunt »

Yes, this is really off topic.

I am wondering if any of you have a recommendation for a tour operator that handles Morocco. I am looking for a company to assist with planning a tour for 10-20 people next summer, lasting about one week or slightly longer. Price: mid-upper range. Active participants that want to visit multiple locations, and possibly (not definitely) end at an upscale resort. All of the group have been to Morocco before, but not for many years.

I am looking around online now but thought one of you might have had personal experience that you can share.

Thanks!

I was there in 1977 with a military entourage. Bought some hash that turned out to be camel shit. Don't think I can help ya.

I'm going to forward your question to my ex-boss. She may know someone through incentive travel network, or may even have a contact who is a DMC (Destination Management Company) in Morocco.

Sorry Becky... this is what I got back from her:

Sorry, not a clue. I have done very little overseas and nothing to Middle East. I can't even think to whom I could refer you.

Bummer! She knows so many people I was sure she might be able to network to someone! :(

Hi,
Been out of the travel agent business for a few years, but if you were to walk into the office today, I'd start with Abercrombie and Kent.

Hi Becky! My sister always has her neighbors in on Christmas Eve for cocktails. They are both travel agents so I asked them if they had a contact for Morocco and the wife does. She is going to send me the information. Once I have it I will pass it along to you.

Merry Christmas!
