Belated Trip Report, 2/24-3/4

Post by Chris »

Delayed trip report because we've been depressed ever since we got back. This was our third trip and we love the hell out of STJ. But we get so depressed when we return home...
Our two other trips were in Sept. '05 and Oct. '06. We stayed out near Salt Pond at LaSirena. Just the wife and I and loved it. Nice and secluded.
This trip was a "surprise" for me to celebrate the big 5-0. Stayed at Villa Tessori, in Rendezvous Bay, an absolutely incredible place. (stjohnrentavilla.com)
It was pricey and definately a once in a lifetime deal but, frankly worth every penny. We had the family with us (both sons, brother and sis in law, both their kids, and one of the kids' friends)Needless to say no nekkidness this trip. So, we've booked another place for this september; this time just us. (let the [nekked] games begin!)
I won't bore you with all the stuff we did and places we went. We go to STJ to fall in love again. We unwind, drink and eat, and act like school kids again (without the need for a backseat!)
I'm only sorry we waited so long to discover what so many have you have known for so long.
I read your posts about how STJ "used to be". Maybe its changed over the years and maybe there is a "new/old STJ" on some other island but until someone turns us on to it, STJ remains our place. We only hope that all of you have half the fun we have and can truly say to your better half, "There's no one else I'd rather be here with".

There's no one else 'd rather be anywhere with than my better half! I understand what you mean though! This will be our second trip but the first all adult! We are really looking forward to it!

Thank you for sharing! Happy Birthday! My huby is turning 50 this year too! We will be 2 months late to actually celebrate it there but it is one of the reasons we are going this year!

Sounds like you had a great time - but you can certainly "bore" us with the details if you like!

(that's what those of us here at home live for!)
