Sherban, too funny about the first year. It is all maintenance at the beginning, and that's a good thing, because I have no idea what will happen once the real life questions/issues start. I guess we'll figure it out as we go, like everything else in life! Poor baby is a bit of an experiment, but I guess all kids are.

ALW- I'm sure you and hubby will enjoy the ride...I loved it but I am also glad to be through it.

As a result of your thread, I have been remembering "phase one"...how my wife and I had poop classification down to a science..."oh god it's one of those yellow ones"...and were masters at making formula bottles the right temperature in the middle of the night...the baby cries and we stumble around making the bottle as fast as possible while chanting "yes master"...and all the worrying...."why is he so quiet?"..."is he alright". "Is he breathing?"...yes that is when i really forgave my mother and fully understood why she was such a psycho when I was a teen...she was worrying and she couldn't help it. It was like my brain changed when my first child was born but I didn't consciously decide to change...it was evolution...I used to jump out of planes...no more though. ...weird.
Remember the chant...."yes master"...hehehe...
