Sunday evenings
Sunday evenings
Hello,
I will be making my first trip to the USVI in January for a couple/few days. I have 2 full days (Mon-Tues) to hang out however I arrive Sunday evening around 5 and I dont want to just "throw away" the rest of Sunday. By looking around it seems lots of shops/restaurants are closed on Sundays so I was wondering where some good spots are to imbibe? I am traveling solo and am staying on St Thomas but my full days will likely be on St John.
Thanks in advance,
z

Welcome!
Sunday evenings are usually the time for a Forum gathering at the Beach Bar. What is the date and as it gets closer you'll start to see if one is forming. You can get to the Beach Bar with a short walk from St. John's ferry dock.
Also, I know for certain that the Banana Deck is open and also Rhumblines which is fabulous for dinner. T-Bird usually plays and she is a great acoustic guitar singer.
Have fun planning your upcoming trip!

Thanks for all the advice. Seeing as it looks like all my time will be spent on St. John I am looking into a vacation rental in Cruz Bay. Somewhat pricier but then I also dont have to pay for taxi rides and ferry fees each day. Also I wont be as isolated as I would be at the La Mafolie hotel.
