Activities for wedding parties

Post by stltimmy »

Good Morning Board!

I am trying to arrange a day or two worth of activities for the wedding party. There will be 6 men, 6 women.

One day we plan on everyone going to JVD. Another, perhaps fishing for the men, and shopping on STT for the women.

Can anyone recommend a charter that accommodates 6? Any other ideas for things we can do, either together as a group, or separated by gender?

Thanks in advance!

What about a scavenger hunt with Jeeps? Split people up into teams and have them take pictures at different spots all over the island then meet up and compare results.

I would recommend Capt John with Palm Tree charters. He is awesome and a ton of fun!

For fishing I like Double Header. Make sure to ask who ever you go out with when the fish are biting the first time we went out we just booked a morning charter and didn't catch much while on the boat the captain said the fish were biting in the evening since then we ask and have always had great luck infact the last time we cuaght so many tuna no one wanted to reel any more in we were so beat.

Maybe the ladies would enjoy some spa treatments? There are multiple spas on the island--I'm sure someone could recommend a specific one if it sounds of interest.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

How about having someone cater a small beach bbq? Check with Katilady or Mathayom on this. Or a sunset sail, followed by group dinner at Beach Bar or Banana Deck? Are you renting a house? Nomadic Spa will come to your house and do spa treatments.

For the ladies, maybe a spa day? Check the new salon in Mongoose Junction, The Beauty Lounge, www.stjohnbeautylounge.com
