Back and having problems assimilating...

Post by RickG »

As always, we had an awesome trip. Halloween week brings an enormous number of forumites to the island and we did serious beach time with most of them - making this our favorite week on STJ. We'll post a review of Casa de Sonadores (amazing!) and a short trip report soon.

Getting back into things at home has been tough with a killer schedule. Having Jorge up to provide his millwork expertise for the brewpub project yesterday was a good segue. He impressed our architect and provided great guidance on keeping costs down. More to come, and check the construction blog at http://maddbrewer.com/

Welcome back, Rick and good luck with your new project - very exciting!

I was at Victory Brewing company over the weekend and it made me think of you - for some reason, I thought you had posted that it's a favorite of yours. It was my first trip and we loved it. We'll be back for certain.

Have you ever brought a growler to the Tap Room for them to fill it while on St. John?

Hang in there, all will fall into place.

Good luck with it all.

At least you have a great place to retreat to when the need arises.
