Villas on Mamey Peak
I know Apito is up on Mamey Peak but what other villas are up there?

has 2 older mamey peak villas, viewtiful and treehouse. had planned to stay at vful this past july until casa bueno opened up but toured both while at casa b.
treetops is very basic with steps everywhere. as i recall, only view back toward tortolla. vful, nicer but not luxury with great room up on parking level while bedrooms are on lower level. pool deck views are straight down pike over coral bay and to east and africa. actually more of coral bay than casab. you could see vful hanging over cline rd from casa b. view from upper deck is same as lower plus view to north over sir francis drake and jost van dyke. we'll probably stay there when only me and bride since she likes easy access down to north shore from area. the rd up from centerline is VERY roughly paved.
rented nautilus form private homes on 3 occassions and nice folks to deal with.

a great villa on Mamey Peak
Would be Coral Oasis. We spent 10 days there in May 2008. Place is brand new and very upscale. Great views. The road is typical: rough, paved here and there, big ruts, 4wd necessary. A small issue was the pool water temp; it was approaching chilly.
Absolutely loved the proximity to Coral Bay and the north shore beaches.
