Before the game yesterday, Pedro said to reporters that he was "the most influential player ever to play at Yankee Stadium". One of the NY reporters tried to clarify the statement, asking Pedro "You mean, VISITING players?"...To which Pedro replied, "No.".

What an ego! Good thing is that stuff like tthis usually comes back to bite them in the ass. I'm patient. Seven games is a long time.

How you don’t go up to the plate looking for off speed stuff from Pedro is beyond me. Can he possibly have a 3rd playoff rabbit left in his hat? Guess we cant put anything past this future first ballot hall of famer.

Also beyond me is Charlie M. not starting the runners from 1st and 2nd on that 3-2 count to Utley. (McCarver was right about that one)

Girardi had a good nite, pushing all the right buttons without over-pushing any.

Is it any wonder why the Yanks didn’t make the playoffs last yr without Matsui’s and Posada’s bats in the lineup?

Pedro has been invited back to NY for the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade. His massive ego will be the largest balloon in the parade.

I really dont understand your point. Why did you list all of those names? What do they have to do with Pedro?

As funny a comment as it is accurate.
Any chance we can coax Ryan Howards' bat into showing up?
Raul?...
Where are they?

Did Cole Hamels really say "I just can't wait for the season to end" in a Post game interview after game 3? Did anyone read or see that?
