Sun,

First of all, have a great time! Where are you staying?

Second, I agree a hard hike but so worth it. Just take your time and rest along the way. Bring lots of water. I do recommend continuing on to the Margaret Hill peak. The views from both are amazing! I do this hike for exercise - makes me feel better about all the boozing and eating that I do on vacation.

I'll look for daily posts from you on Facebook :)

Boston Mike, if we're on island the same time again in May, Nicole can hike with me and you and Ron can hit the tap room or breakfast or something. Sound like a plan?

Sun the Reef bay hike is from Off The Beaten Track. When we did it I concentrated on how to get to the parking spot and figured the hike would be self explanatory. Wrong! the trail at the end to get to Reef Bay had been washed out at the shorline. Well we missed it, not that we were looking for it so we tryed to scramble over the cliff to get to Reef Bay. After about five minutes of attempting this (heck a mountain goat would have been challenged) I told Andy this can't be right. So we backtracked and I walked up the washed out area and woolaa a trail. So if ya do it and get to those cliffs ya went to far.
Great idea on the beer for Cardiac Hill once ya get to the top reward yourselves with one and soak in the view from the new outlook. Now Boston I'm not talkin a six pack ya gotta make it back down and ya can't roll down

Capt Kirk, we missed that trail and did the rock scramble - I didn't know until now that we missed a trail :(

Boston Mike, we will definitely be there that week. 5/14 is our 9 year anniversary. We haven't booked yet but we will be there.

I shall consider it my duty to try to get lost on the Reef Bay Scramble and report back to Nicole for the May trip.

I think an anniversary trip on Lion in da Sun or Born to Rhumb is a FABULOUS idea!

You kids be good while I'm gone!
