Air Cards

Hi all...well just about in 50 days were going to be in St. John; my daughter has informed me that all her classes are on line. So, the way things went, we rented a villa with no internet connection (house was very cheap) long story short....has anyone used an air card on the island? if so how did it work for you and where did you rent or buy yours from? thanks *Sam*

I use ATT air card. There are places on STJ it won't work. Try Sprint as well.

My ATT aircard works well where there is line of sight to a cell tower. Cruz Bay works well, the south shore is a blank spot. Coral Bay works well until you get south enough that you cannot see the cell tower - essentially past Cocoloba, but Ajax Peak is great. North shore, not so good unless you can see Red Hook.

The Tap Room in Mongoose Junction has good WiFi and a/c.
