Light weight luggage
Light weight luggage
We are in the market for some new luggage and wondered if anyone had any light weight luggage to recommend. We do like the wheel-type which I'm sure adds some weight but it sure makes it easier hauling it around!
We like the Rick Steves rollies. They are lighter and better than my expensive Samsonite and come with some cool extras.

I just have to reply since I spent a couple months obsessing over light weight luggage.
Eagle Creek is light weight, has many sizes with wheels. Delsey has the Helium series which is really popular. I didn't get theirs because the smallest carry-on they had was 21". and I was looking for something in the 19" (height, that is) as international airlines won't allow the larger carry-ons that the airlines in the States do. My favorite I ended up with is TravelPro's Xtreme light carry on I found on Luggage Base.
Hope this helps. Also, look on Ebags and they have a section called lightweight luggage.
