I do love the first song, that could be the theme song for Obama, the sequel.

I don't actually love the tone of the 2nd video, as the sign carrier comes off as a disrespectful 10 year old saying, " You can't make me..."

And the officer was just trying to do what he was told by someone else.
Here is a link to the history of the Gadsden Flag, which actually started out a symbol of being proud of your Government and Country, and turned into something better.

Does anyone from Northern Massachusetts buy all their beer in New Hamshire Now? We were up in NH in July, and I bought 2 cases of Corona for $20.00
It is $29.00 more or less in Mass. and that is ALL taxes!
But there is no way I will dump my Beer {tea} in Boston Harbor.

SJ - Yes! That was actually Howard Dean...You know, the guy is supposed to speak for the Democrats as the head of the DNC. Here's his entire quote about the trial lawyers:

“This is the answer from a doctor and a politician,” said Dean. “Here is why tort reform is not in the bill. When you go to pass a really enormous bill like that the more stuff you put in, the more enemies you make, right? And the reason why tort reform is not in the bill is because the people who wrote it did not want to take on the trial lawyers in addition to everybody else they were taking on, and that is the plain and simple truth. Now, that’s the truth.”

Funny, when did this administration get gunshy (oh the irony of that term when talking about the dems!) about taking people on?

Lets see:

Last week, Harry Reid told the longest runnning newspaper in Las Vegas that he "Hopes they fail".

Obama took on the cops. Had that professor been white, I have a feeling O's response would've been different.

Obama took on the postal service...Saying that UPS and FedEx do fine...Its's the Post Office that always having trouble (case in point for why we say "no" to healthcare).

Obama took on Special Olympians. Classy.

Obama took on the Travel and Recreation industry, specifically and most damaging, Las Vegas. Remember in the beginning of his term (which seems like decades ago) when he condemned companies who fly their people to places like Vegas and Arizona...Vegas is struggling now because companies are cancelling their trips.

Obama took on the insurance companies, and has villified them.

Obama took on physicians, saying in essence that docs would rather do the more costly procedure (like pulling tonsils), rather than say, treating allergies.

Obama is currently taking on the CIA. You know, those people who allow you and I to put our babies to bed at night without the fear of a mushroom cloud waking them in the morning...Take on the Bush Admin...Fine...I get it...You must appease your lefty kook base...But to take on the rank and file members of the CIA? To take on the lawyers who gave Bush and Cheney clearance to prosecute the war as they did?

This is a trues story...My expenses at work just got audited. Nothing really out of the ordinary...However there were questions raised about certain healthcare associations that we provided education for...I had to submit documentation, attendee lists, etc...All turned out fine, as I simply don't screw around with this sort of thing...However, the events they were asking questions about were perfectly legal (my industry is highly scrutinized, regulated)...I told my boss that if he wanted somebody to do these events in the future, he would have to find someone else to put them on the corporate AMEX. Not gonna do it anymore -perfectly within regs, but not worth the headache.

If you think similar thoughts are not going through the heads of CIA agents today (on a much higher scale, obviously), well, I have some property in Siberia I'd love to sell ya.

SJ - I too have longed for the days of Hillary Clinton. I would take her in a fetus heartbeat (which is VERY FAST, you know!) over this fella.

Go Sox - see you in October.

Don't wish for Hillary, she's too smart. This guy is showing his true colors so fast he's making his own party run from him. Let him keep doing what he's doing.

Massachusetts is actually trying to make NH businesses either pay Mass taxes when Mass customers buy something in NH or report Mass residents when they buy in NH so Mass gov't can collect the taxes. Is that not the creepiest thing ever?! So, if you live in Mass and want to buy somewhere else, Mass govt thinks that you STILL have to pay Mass taxes.
Seriously.

Mass also has a state run healthcare system that ALL residents have to buy into or face fines. Currently, this system is failing, is bankrupt and is only a year or two old.

Hello!? Gov't run healthcare does not work.

People- the Post Office has never made one dime of profit. That's why the stamps keep going up and up and up and up. Our Gov't runs that.

What makes us think they can run a healthcare system?

All hail Deval Patrick (Barack Obama, Jr)!

As for the government "running" healthcare...Do we honestly think Obama gives two you-know-what's about whether or not the government can actually run healthcare efficiently? This is about power, and spreading dependence on the federal government, which he thinks equals eternal voter loyalty to the Democratic Party. It is the reason why Obama clearly has not read the bill, nor has he proposed any solutions of his own.

It's funny to hear him and his lemmings talk about the federal government providing competition in the free market...Isn't that an oxy-moron of some sort?

And last I checked...Aetna competes with Humana, who competes, with BCBS, who competes with Kaiser (well nobody really competes with Kaiser), who competes with, Healthnet, etc, etc, etc...

This is a power grab, plain and simple. And in the process, individual liberty be damned.

The devil is in the details - of which there are very few. That is by design.
