Pia - School Supplies Needed?

Pia, I noticed that you were collecting school supplies for the children of STJ. Since I will be flying in with my family (3 kids) on April 3, I was wondering if there was something I could bring to donate. Thanks for your help. Patti, aka scubamom5

I am in Kansas City right now and will only be home 4 days before I leave for England so I won't have time to go to the school to ask for an updated list but I am sure anything that you would like to bring would be most welcome - thanks for the offer

I'm sure any school would welcome supplies, but I have been working with the Guy Benjamin School in Coral Bay as that is only 2 mins from where I live and easy for me to drop the packages off

Hi there

Thanks so much for the offer to send more supplies - they will be greatly appreciated.

I really have no way of finding out what is needed right now as there is no one at the school and I am getting ready to leave for KC next week. If there is an interest from forumites wanting to send, I will go to the school when I return and I can find out what they are short of.

Pia, We will be on STJ Oct 17th and were going to try to contact the KidsFirst people if possible to bring down art/school supplies. My sister in law is an artist and always brings some type of supplies for the schools anywhere she visits. If you know of anything needed or anyone in that group or some other group that we might contact any info would be appreciated.
Interesting that you will be in KC next week. We live near the airport in North KC. It will be hot in the upper 90's high humidty next week. You just missed the cold streak. It had been in the high 70's low 80's the last two weeks and we hit record lows! Hope you enjoy your trip!
